Report from Germany

[Hamburg] This year, as usual, the Aulacese Refugee Association of Hamburg organized a musical entertainment show on the first day of the Lunar New Year, which fell on Feb 5th, 2000. Although the weather was freezing, hundreds of people from many parts of Germany gathered at the performance to celebrate the New Year. Besides the traditional food, and book and magazine booths of other organizers, this year there was also a new booth from Hamburg initiates, showing Master's videos, displaying Her books and magazines and offering vegetarian food. Most people who watched Master's video tapes at our booth inquired with great interest about Master and the Quan Yin Method. Inside the auditorium, music was rumbling, but outside, people gathered to watch video tapes about Master's activities, especially the flood relief work in Au Lac conducted by Master and Her Association. Seeing the scenes of destruction in their homeland, some Aulacese people became very sad, turning their faces away to hide their tears.

Although this was the first time that we had reached out in this kind of activity, the result was very good. Thanks to the help of initiates from Dusseldorf and Berlin, it was an unforgettable New Year's day for all of us! Thank You, Master, for again granting us Your immense blessings!

Ching Hai Day in Berlin

[Berlin] On February 19th and 20th, a two-day retreat and a celebration of The Supreme Master Ching Hai Day were held in Berlin. Fellow initiates from all over Germany and even Sweden came in order to participate in these events. Young and old all had a fantastic time and a wonderful retreat.
