From
today we're going to be happy, happy, happier than before. I have a special
gift for you for the year 2000 onwards, but this gift you cannot keep with you;
this gift you have to give to people. From today, any of you can teach anyone
who wishes to learn the Convenient Method. [Applause]
Make
sure that you are a good teacher. Before you teach people, make sure you know
that they're ready and that they really want it. Do not use any way to coerce
them because each of them is God. Remember this, and if they choose to know
themselves again, that is the time to tell them. If, nevertheless, they choose
to remain "un-God" for a while longer, then you should respect that
wish of God. Therefore be in no hurry, show no panic, and have no sorrow if
other people do not want to learn anything from you. Remember that they are
God; they don't need you. No one needs us; it's just that when the time comes,
if they choose to remember themselves, then you can come along and remind them.
From
today, the year 2000 is a very special occasion, and all of your spiritual efforts
have born fruit. I dedicate this gift to you, that all of you can be teachers
of the Convenient Method, only. Ask those persons who would like to learn something
from us to be vegetarian as much as they can. If they come back to you again,
then you can contact the Quan Yin messenger and give them a green card. If they
don't ever come back again, sayonara, no problem! Teach them, love them, and
leave them. If they come back, welcome them; if they don't come back, tell them
to try to meditate at home and keep quiet about their practice. If they are
interested, they can come back to learn more from us. Kapito? [Applause]
Remember
to pray to the inner Master before you tell people anything or teach them the
Convenient Method. If you do not know how yet, you can ask a Quan Yin messenger
or refer to the tape where I taught it before in Malaysia. ("The Six Buddhist
Perfections," Tape 1 of 2, Penang, Malaysia, 1989, Originally in English)
Watch that tape. And try to be a good teacher yourself. Try to be a good example,
study more of the teachings, and know the questions and answers. Be a teacher
- all of you! I love you very much! [Applause]
